The Challenge
An Australian gardening website offering tips, advice, and products for garden enthusiasts, was facing a stagnant organic traffic growth rate despite their efforts in content creation and on-page optimization.
They sought help improving their search engine visibility and driving more organic traffic to their website.
Quick Overview of this campaign:
- Target Audience/Location: Australia-wide
- Problem: Stagnant / no growth in organic traffic
- Major pain-point: Unoptimised collection and product pages
The Solution
I’ve conducted a thorough SEO audit of the client’s website and identified several areas for improvement.
Tasks Implemented:
Keyword research and optimization: I’ve conducted extensive keyword research to identify the most relevant and profitable keywords – but we’ve mainly focused on low-hanging fruits that could be pushed to first page of Google.
We then optimized their content and meta tags with these keywords to increase their search engine visibility.
Link building: We developed a robust link-building strategy to increase the number of high-quality links pointing to the client’s website. This included guest posting on relevant gardening blogs and creating citations (since they have a physical location where they sell their products).
On-page optimization: We optimized the website’s technical elements, including page speed, mobile responsiveness, and website structure, to improve the user experience and ensure that the website was fully optimized for search engines.
The Result
Our efforts paid off and this gardening site saw a 325% growth in organic clicks within 6 months. The website’s search engine rankings improved significantly, and the client received more organic leads and sales as a result. The client was thrilled with the results!
